Electric driving is the future. But every battery on wheels needs to charge. How is that arranged? Who pays for it? Where does the power come from? You can help determine that. Are you going to take on the challenge?

Tell on …

Since electric driving has taken place, a major changeover has taken place. Combustion engines are becoming obsolete and driving on (green) electricity is growing every year. You need charging points to charge all those cars. But if different companies provide the city with charging points and power, who keeps the overview?

This company knows how to manage that. It offers solutions in the enormous spider web that is the world of charging stations, energy transactions, and smart cities. They do this by, how they call it, connecting the dots using remote-controlled digital products. With their flexible platform, the energy transactions have never been that easy.

That’s great, but what can I do here?

As their Infrastructure Engineer, you will be focused on designing new infrastructure architecture of their application landscape. Administrating and maintaining Linux infrastructure is also part of the job, as well as working on the firewalls and VPN. You’ll work closely with their DBA and development team, and act as a backup for them. That means they are your backup as well. Thanks to you, the infrastructure is on point and always up to date, maybe even ahead of time.

Alright, but am I good enough?

Why wouldn’t you be? You know tools like Puppet, Asible, Github and Elk, and you’ve got knowledge in setting up and maintaining a Kubernetes or Docker Swarm environment. This, together with your knowledge in scripting language like Bash, PowerShell and Python, makes sure you get in. The energy transition has always been interesting for you, and now you can contribute to it.

This is me. But how is the pay?

If you join this passionate team, which is occupied with innovations on a daily basis, you could receive a salary of up to €80.000 gross a year. But that’s not all, because you’ll be receiving a nice pension scheme, bonus scheme and a SAR scheme with which you’ll anticipate within the company. The working hours are flexible, as well as where you work; remote or at the office. Great lunch, monthly drinks, fun outings and pinball and table soccer are just some things to make it even more fun. So what about asking Bram a little more about the details of this job?
