Tell me more

This company designs and builds some of the most advanced systems out there. Trust me, they really know their business. There’s zero room for error, and millions of people depend on their expertise every day. They’re known for pushing the limits and bringing together thousands of experts worldwide, all focused on creating reliable, high-performance solutions that keep people moving and connected. Working here means being part of something big. Really, really big.

What will I be doing

In this freelance role, you’ll take ownership of quality for high-precision components used in mission-critical systems. These can include structural parts, energy systems or instrumentation for advanced platforms. Your job is to make sure every unit delivered meets the strictest quality standards—because failure isn’t an option.

You’ll define the product assurance plan, follow it through each stage of development and production, and coordinate with both suppliers and internal teams. One day you’re checking inspection results on a mechanical assembly, the next you’re leading a review to close out a deviation before final delivery. You’ll be the main point of contact for all quality-related matters, steering both documentation and people toward a clean handoff. You will monitor applicable product assurance requirements, track obsolescence issues, and maintain the configuration baseline throughout the project. You’ll lead deviation boards to close non-conformance reports and support series production by monitoring supplier quality and driving improvements.

I want his role! Let’s check my cv…

You’ve worked in engineering environments where precision and compliance are standard, not optional — preferably in aerospace, defence, or another highly controlled sector. You hold a degree in mechanical, aerospace, or software engineering and have at least 3 years of experience in quality or product assurance.

Furthermore, you know how to build and maintain configuration baselines, enforce quality requirements across suppliers, and prepare project documentation that stands up to formal review. You’ve led audits, resolved deviations with structured action plans, and worked directly with production teams to ensure nothing leaves the floor without full traceability. Whether supporting one-off builds or structured series production, you bring calm, structure, and full accountability — exactly what’s needed when the margin for error is zero. Not to forget: you’re fluent in English (verbal and written), and Dutch is a plus.

Cool, ad do they pay well?

Absolutely. The hourly rate is competitive and reflects the level of responsibility and expertise required. With a range up to €150,- per hour depending on your experience and fit with the assignment. You’ll be working with a globally recognised organisation at the forefront of technology. They are known for its precision, scale and long track record of success. This isn’t just another freelance job; it’s a chance to contribute to international missions while collaborating with top-tier engineers. Ready to be part of this?
