Fulltime employee
€ 52.000  -  € 58.000
IT Software (SaaS)

Digital innovation shapes the future. Especially when smart software companies empower organizations to communicate better, work more efficiently, and swiftly adapt to changes. But real innovation requires more than just technology. It needs leaders like you who can drive quality, influence strategy, and own the product’s success.

Tell me more…

This software company develops advanced digital solutions that go beyond simple automation. Using smart technologies such as AI, data analytics, and pattern recognition, the company helps clients optimize their business processes and gain a competitive edge in their market. With a clear vision and solid strategy, they’re building a global network of strategic partners who will distribute their innovative software solutions. That’s precisely where you come into play.

Count me in, what can I do?

As the first local QA Engineer, you’re the go-to quality champion, making a real difference in an international product used worldwide. You will own quality for a powerful SaaS platform used by global engineering clients to manage technical data and complex projects. You’ll kick off with extensive manual testing on the Viewport platform where no automated test framework exists yet. Your mission? Build that test automation framework from scratch using tools like Playwright for UI testing and Karate for API automation.

You’re not just testing but you’re setting the bar for quality, defining and improving processes, and embedding best practices in a new, dynamic team. You’re not afraid to challenge and establish workflows that help the team deliver better, faster. Working closely with developers in an Agile Scrum environment, you actively contribute to sprint planning and retrospectives, making sure bugs get caught early, documented clearly with screenshots, and swiftly communicated back so fixes happen fast. You’ll also coordinate with the offshore testing team in India to keep testing seamless across locations, acting as the bridge between teams to ensure smooth collaboration. This role offers a unique chance to expand your impact across multiple teams within the company.

Great, what experience do I need?

You have solid experience in both manual and automated testing, ideally within SaaS or enterprise-grade software. ITSQB certification is a big plus so you know why quality standards matter and you champion them. Besides, you’re confident leading testing efforts in Agile teams and able to drive improvements by collaborating closely with developers and product owners.

You’re comfortable navigating complex systems, able to talk fluently about APIs, workflows, and architecture without writing code yourself. You have the technical affinity to set up test automation frameworks, even if you’re not coding daily. Furthermore, you have the communication skills to explain issues clearly and the maturity to push back when quality is at stake. Organized, detail-focused, and proactive, you work independently, take initiative, and adapt easily to change. You’re ready to own the QA role locally, build frameworks, define testing processes, and help the team deliver a rock-solid product used worldwide.

There will be an assignment and a technical deep dive as part of the interview process to make sure you fit the role perfectly.

Sounds like me, what do I get in return?

Your efforts will be generously rewarded with a salary between €4.000 and €4.5000 gross per month. Additionally, an end-of-year bonuss and an 8% holiday allowance are included. Beyond financial rewards, the company offers a strong pension plan and ample vacation days to ensure a healthy work-life balance. You will be part of a flat, international organization that provides a supportive work environment, the freedom to shape your role, and numerous opportunities for professional growth.
