Efficiency is more important than ever in today’s growing urban environments. But how do you make that happen? By building smart, centralized systems that bring together multiple software solutions. Now, imagine if your work could help make cities safer. Sounds exciting, right?

Sounds good… Tell me more!

That’s exactly what our client does. They develop cutting-edge technologies that help both public and private organizations streamline their operations. From mobile payments and enforcement systems to permit management and mobile scanning solutions, they provide the tools to keep cities running smoothly. The data collected through these systems is processed in a central back office, where it’s used to enhance safety and efficiency. Their advanced web application ensures their clients always have the best insights and control over their data.

And this is where you come in…

As a Software Tester, you will be a key player in ensuring the quality of our software applications. You will be responsible for designing, executing, and managing functional, manual and automated tests using tools such as Selenium, Cypress, and Playwright. Your role involves developing and implementing test strategies and plans, collaborating closely with development teams to effectively communicate and resolve defects, and contributing to the continuous improvement of testing processes and methodologies. With your expertise, you will ensure that the software meets the highest quality standards and plays a crucial role in the development of innovative solutions.

**What do you expect from me?

You need to collaborate effectively with development teams and other stakeholders to clarify testing requirements and communicate defects. The ability to develop and implement test strategies and plans that align with project needs is essential, as is setting up test environments and coordinating test activities. Strong skills in reporting and documenting test results, defects, and improvements are necessary to provide clear and actionable feedback. A solid foundation in manual, functional, or automated testing is essential, with a willingness to learn and adapt to others as needed. You should be proficient in designing and executing test cases to ensure the functionality, performance, and reliability of software applications.

How is the pay?

In return, you’ll get to work in a dynamic environment with a young, skilled team of developers. In addition to a competitive salary of up to €68,000 gross per year (based on a 40-hour workweek), you will enjoy a 32-hour workweek where you can choose your day off. You will be working in a wonderfully flexible environment with a great team that loves to support each other. The office culture is fun and collaborative, with regular team events and shared lunches that make work feel a little less like work.
