Most of your work will focus on the creation and implementation of the Quality Assurance plan, which ensures that all products delivered by your colleagues are well (automated) tested and of good quality. With this plan, you will ensure that the processes are working safely and perfectly, that the data is in order, and that you can determine when something goes wrong. Of course, just like in their solution, not everything can be automated. So, it’s up to you to decide what comes first or not at all. From the user interface to functional, integration, or regression testing. You develop and implement the test cases and automated scripts and use your findings to guide the development team in realizing the perfect solution.
Awesome! But do I have what it takes?
Of course, you do. With your experience (at least two to three years) in test automation and a thorough understanding of the STLC, you’ll do great. Sure, it helps if you have a relevant bachelor’s or master’s degree. But all they really care about is your passion for automation and your drive to help your team achieve perfection. The development teams work with .NET, JavaScript, and React, and of course, it helps if you have worked with these technologies before. We expect a good understanding of Selenium and Cypress and that you have experience in writing test frameworks from scratch. If you also have experience in improving the CI/CD pipelines you will be a great fit for this position. If you communicate clearly, analyze properly, and occasionally laugh wholeheartedly, you’ll thrive in this company.
What does it pay?
This company realizes all too well that they really need you and your colleagues. This is also reflected in the salary that is between €45 to €65.000 euros gross per annum, depending on your experience.
