Awesome, what will I be doing?
You will start in at the Dutch subsidiary, located in Amsterdam. This subsidiary is growing fast and you will be the first technical designer working at this location. The team you start in consists of 7 people, of which 4 are working from the office together with you. Daily, you will analyze the customer’s needs and space availability to design an efficient storage solution. These solutions will be presented in technical drawings in form of 2D. In addition, you will elaborate on costing calculations and other relevant documentation for projects when needed.
So, what is expected from me?
To start with, knowledge of making technical drawings in 2D form is needed. Preferably in AutoCAD, but that is not a hard requirement. However, being willing to learn how to work with AutoCAD is necessary. In addition, you need the ability to analyze customers’ needs and find design solutions using the company’s stored products. During your analyses of the customer needs, a detailed and organized working attitude is needed. You will discuss those needs with the sales representatives and the headquarters in Barcelona. For the latter, it is necessary that you speak fluent English, speaking Spanish is an advantage.
