Their goal is to have the largest active audience, the greatest digital reach, and the highest levels of engagement. How they plan to achieve that? What do they need?
There is a dedicated Scrum team working to bring their flagship news website to the next level and they need the help of an experienced NodeJS developer to do it. Someone who knows a thing or two about building critical, high-traffic websites, feels at home working in modern JavaScript frameworks like React, and has some experience with caching solutions like Redis or Varnish. Basically, someone who gets very excited about working on large websites for millions of concurrent users.
Could that someone be me?
That someone could be you if you have the right tools in your toolbox. Stuff like a relevant Computer Science degree and a few years of development experience in NodeJS. Besides that, all they ask for is an open mind and an eagerness to learn. They hope to learn from you but they would also definitely like to teach you a thing or two.
