How many lives did you save today? Probably none. Zero, more likely. Being a software developer is no excuse. You can truly make a difference. By joining this company on its mission to keep workers in hazardous industries all around the world, safe and secure.

How do they plan to do that?

By taking the market-leading solutions they’ve built to the cloud. They started over a decade ago by developing solutions for large and complex organizations in hazardous industries, like pharmaceuticals, chemicals, and even utilities. Things like monitoring solutions and automated or remotely controlled safety barriers. Applications to manage maintenance on highly critical hardware or to schedule work in large complex environments like refineries. Stuff that keeps people safe.

Some of the world’s biggest companies have come to rely on these solutions for their core business. They ensure safety, productivity, and continuity. And these companies want to be able to access them, globally. This is why all of these different solutions are now being moved to a cloud platform. This is where you come in.

What do you need from me?

As their Senior .NET Engineer, you show your large expertise by assessing opportunities for application and process improvement. You work closely with the architect and team lead to implement new features, remove technical debt and implement best practices. Most of it is based on the Microsoft stack with .NET Core running the show. And to really be sure, they enjoy using a TDD approach so you’ll also be writing the occasional Unit-test every now and then.

Interesting! How much experience do I need to bring?

With your 5+ years of experience as a software developer, you can call yourself a senior. You’re known with GIT, Azure DevOps and .Net Core. It also helps if you know how to work with both relational and non-relational databases and any added experience in AWS is surely a bonus. Cloud experience is great and you have a desire to learn more every day; because you can do that here.

That’s me! What’s in return?

A very competitive salary to begin with. Up to €80.000,- gross a year. On top of that, you’ll receive excellent secondary benefits.
