How many lives did you save today? Probably none. Zero, more likely. Being a software developer is no excuse. You can truly make a difference. By joining this company on its mission to keep workers in hazardous industries all around the world, safe and secure.
How do they plan to do that?
By taking the market-leading solutions they’ve built to the cloud. They started over a decade ago by developing solutions for large and complex organizations in hazardous industries, like pharmaceuticals, chemicals, and even utilities. Things like monitoring solutions and automated or remotely controlled safety barriers. Applications to manage maintenance on highly critical hardware or to schedule work in large complex environments like refineries. Stuff that keeps people safe.
Some of the world’s biggest companies have come to rely on these solutions for their core business. They ensure safety, productivity, and continuity. And these companies want to be able to access them, globally. Which is why all of these different solutions are now being moved to a cloud platform. This is where you come in.
What do you need from me?
As an experienced .NET Developer you’ll become part of a self-organizing team working on a wide range of different solutions. The goal is always the same though, delivering the highest level of safety in the most reliable way. Which is why they use reliable technology. Most of it is based on the Microsoft stack with .NET Core running the show. And to really be sure, they enjoy using a TDD approach so you’ll also be writing the occasional Unit-test every now and then. Of course, it’s important to make sure you stay on top of your game so you will be devoting at least 10% of your time on innovation and you may also be asked to contribute to open-source software.
Sounds great, what do I need to bring?
A few solid years of .NET Development experience for starters, preferably even some in .NET Core. It also helps if you know how to work with both relational and non-relational databases and any added experience in AWS is surely a bonus. Although not for much longer, because you will be part of the move to Azure. So either way, cloud experience is a plus. Other than that, it’s all about mentality. The desire to learn and grow with your team.
What’s in it for me?
A very competitive salary to begin with. Up to €80.000,- gross a year. On top of that, you’ll receive excellent secondary benefits, including a healthy pension, healthy lunches, and even a gym. And if you’re done with all the healthy stuff by the end of the week, you’re welcome to join your colleagues for Friday drinks. So what are you waiting for? Start saving lives and click apply!
