In logistics, technological development often goes extra slow. But not at this firm, where they are at the forefront of technological improvement. In order to give this an extra boost, they need you.
What are you talking about?
We’ll tell you. This company is a giant in logistics & transport, and they do it properly. More than properly, actually, because as an organization this big and busy, with a lot of hardware, it’s not easy to stay up-to-date on technological development. For example : where your postal service uses advanced track&trace services, several logistics companies can be glad to have a simple version of that.
But here, using technology to their best abilities is high on their priority list. They want to use data, apps, and other useful software solutions in their complete operation, to be more effective and efficient. If they do that properly, they stay ahead of the competition and can offer the best services to their clients.
And what is it I am supposed to do here?
As their Master Data Specialist, you will join the Data Governance team. Major tasks of your jobs are monitoring and further developing of their Master Data Management structure, by identifying possible improvements. You’ll manage all kinds of data such as contract, financial data and customer and supplier data. Thanks to you, the data is properly managed, controlled and corrected.
I can do this, right?
You can. Since you have an analytically strong eye for detail, nothing will be missed and you take initiative in solving the tiniest problems. You have experience in relational databases and when you have worked with SAP and/or PowerBI before, you’re especially suited for this job. In this international environment, a profound understanding of the English language is obvious.
That’s me! And what do I get in return?
For a job as important as this, the reward won’t be small. A yearly salary between €45.000 and €55.000 is already nice, but that’s not all. They offer a company pension plan and reimbursement for the costs of the daily commute. The working agreements are flexible and you receive 28 vacation days based on a full-time job. That must be appealing to you, doesn’t it? Let us know by clicking below!
