As one of the biggest banks in the Netherlands, this bank has to stay up to date with the latest Financial Market Standards. For their Payment and Settlement Services, they need a dedicated Lead Testing to take the team to the next level. In this department, they have built an in-house SEPA Payment processing engine based on Java and Tibco technology stack. They process more than 3 billion transactions every year and their Payment engine has come a long way since its first creation in 2014.

And what will I be doing more specifically?

You’re going to be responsible for an engineering team that’s located in the Netherlands, India, and the Philippines. Together with the other chapter leads you will look for the best ways to deliver fast and high-quality software, while maintaining the stability of the existing system. You look for improvements, coach other testers, and ensure everything works as smoothly as possible.

Interesting! What do I have to bring?

They hire smart people like you for your potential. Staying curious and being able to keep learning is important, but you won’t be in IT if you didn’t know that already. Your years of experience in testing of back-end systems consisting of multiple services/APIs and testing with Cucumber/Java are useful. You are good with incident management, both technically and in stakeholder management. Your colleagues won’t find it hard to ask you their questions and you want them to keep developing their skills.

That’s me! But what do they offer?

Contributing to a big and important job like this won’t be unrewarded. A salary of up to €110.000,- gross a year can be called very competitive, if I may. Working at an international organization like this also really boosts your career. All this comes with a 36-40 hours work week, up to your preference, 13 months, and 27 holidays based on 40 hours. So what are you waiting for? Let us tell you more about this challenging job!
