Imagine this: Residents of our capital city were concerned, and driven by their worries about fossil fuels, joined forces. Solar panels were on rooftops, wind turbines were on the horizon, and the city was becoming greener and greener. The air became cleaner, energy bills dropped, and a close-knit community worked together for a sustainable future.
A beautiful story, but what does this have to do with me?
The energy transition is not something we can achieve overnight. It requires vision, innovation, and above all: the right people. That’s where you come in. This organization is not only focused on renewable energy; they are accelerating the transition to a cleaner future. With their excellent software and hardware, they help maximize infrastructure efficiency. They also collaborate with solar and wind energy producers to build future electricity grids. And you can play a crucial role in this.
What will your role be?
We are looking for a Lead Developer who not only writes code but also leads the team and determines the technical direction. You will take responsibility for product development, oversee the roadmap, and ensure scalability. Additionally, you will drive the technical development of the platform. You will build and maintain both the front-end and back-end, ensuring that everything runs smoothly, quickly, and securely. While others are still puzzling, you’ll have already translated it into technical specifications. You will take the lead, delegate tasks, and keep deadlines on track. Writing clean, efficient code is second nature to you, as is performing code reviews.
What do you bring to the table?
You live in the Netherlands and are fluent in English. You have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a similar field, or you have enough experience to compensate. You have proven experience as a Full Stack Developer and understand the complexities of back-end challenges. You have experience with technologies such as TypeScript, Node, and Next, and are familiar with AWS or a similar cloud service. You’re not only involved in coding but also in leading the team and determining the technical direction. You truly take ownership of the product, have a strong affinity with IoT, and feel closely connected to the technology you help shape.
What do we offer you?
We offer a gross monthly salary between €5,000 and €6,000, depending on your knowledge and experience. In addition to excellent secondary benefits, such as pension contributions, vacation days, sick leave pay, and reimbursements for your laptop, phone, and travel expenses, you will also share in the organization’s profits. You will have the chance to apply your skills in a sector that is essential for the future of our planet. You’ll work in a dynamic environment where you are challenged and supported by a team of driven professionals. Working from home and flexibility? No problem; you are expected at the office two days a week.
