Sustainability is perhaps the most important mission of the 21st century. This is exactly what this company is fully committed to: sustainable mobility. It is the leading provider of smart charging services in Europe.

Tell me more…

Although electric cars seem to be the sustainable solution, it is still quite a task to achieve this. Because at certain times of the day there is not enough wind or solar energy available, gas and coal-fired power stations often must add extra fuel to maintain the balance on the network. Many electric cars therefore still run on energy generated from fossil fuels. Conclusion: we don’t get much out of this.

This company tackles this problem by focusing on charging cars based on the amount of renewable energy available. Using smart charging solutions at the right times, this company ensures that the electricity grid is not overloaded and that gas and coal-fired power stations will eventually become redundant.

What can I do?

As a talented iOS Developer you actively collaborate with the team to develop and enhance the smart charging app. This involves working closely with the design and development teams to ensure that the app’s features and functionality meet the needs of users and align with industry standards. You are implementing views in SwiftUI and shared logic in Kotlin Multiplatform. This includes writing code, debugging, and ensuring that the app functions smoothly. Additionally, you contribute to making the platform stable and scalable.

Sounds like me, what skills do I need?

To excel in this role, you need active proficiency in Swift and SwiftUI, along with a deep understanding of iOS app development tools and frameworks. You are familiar with mobile app architecture and development patterns, including white-labelling, customization, and creating custom UI components. You use your experience with RESTful APIs and version control, like Git, to make sure everything fits together smoothly and the code stays in good shape

If you’ve ever worked with Kotlin or have some knowledge of web technologies, that’s a plus. And if you’ve been part of a team that works in short bursts to get things done (like in a scrum team), that’s helpful too! Things change quickly in this field, so you are good at adapting to new ways of doing things. Communication is key too, you work closely with other team members and need to explain your ideas clearly.

What goes in my wallet?

Firstly, this isn’t just any job; it’s an opportunity to be part of something truly impactful. Beside a hybrid working model that provides you with the flexibility to work remotely or from the office, you can expect an annual salary ranging from €45.000,- to €60.000,-. On top of this, you get 25 leave days and the opportunity to purchase more if you need. Also, you do not have to worry, you have a first-class pension scheme to help secure your future. So let’s keep going! You can improve and reach new heights in your career with in-house training and learning. Good to know, the office is close to Rotterdam Central Station!
