This company is relatively new but growing very fast for the past few years. It never had a large part of their total business process however this is about to change soon. Because it always came in second or third place. They have realized that IT is the key to the further development of their company. In every angle, everywhere.
Awesome, what can I do?
As Head of IT, you will build the whole IT department basically from scratch. You will be the big boss regarding everything that has to do with IT within this company. With software and infrastructure. You will not do this alone you will create your own IT team and manage and lead them. Furthermore, you will provide technical assistance to your colleagues and different projects so that everyone can do their job and projects can work smoothly. You will also work with a lot of data. For example, you will create insight and make data available to further improve their business. And with the data you acquire, you will make improvements in the existing infrastructure and the efficiency & quality of the IT products.
Sounds cool! But am I the one?
Well, that’s a good one. Let’s first start with your working experience. You have at least 5 years of experience in the trading world. Your knowledge of Software Engineering is on point and you have a lot of experience in developing software for the trading environment. Besides this, you live in the amazing city of Amsterdam or close by. But most importantly, you enjoy starting things from scratch and finishing with an amazing finish.
