Creating a home away from home that is the goal and vision of our client! The hospitality industry is ripe for disruption. While many companies are wondering if they even have a future because of the pandemic, others are working hard to revolutionize the industry.
With the world slowly reopening again, our client is welcoming familiar and new guests to stay with them again. To support their fast growing concept, they are looking for a Functional Application Manager who can help them to prioritize and further structure their digital and e-commerce environment.
So, where do I come in?
In this position, you are responsible for several applications and systems: The core website, the award-winning mobile application, but also the back-end systems, and the customer data platform.
As the Functional Application Manager, you are in charge of the application and system landscape together with the tech partners and the external suppliers. So this means the planning and designing of solutions, implementation of new features, test management, and of course the go-live management. Of course, you also provide level 2 and 3 support. Besides a lot of documentation, optimization, and stakeholder and vendor management.
Sounds cool but am I up to the task?*
As the soon-to-be Functional Application Manager, your goal is to grow the online business as much as possible. Together with the tech partners and external suppliers.
A few years of experience with application management is a great starting point. Preferably within the e-commerce domain. So application troubleshooting, system analysis, monitoring, and documentation are things that you can tell us all about.
It’s also important that you know a thing or two about technologies such as Json, APIs, test automation, etc. Because you are going to dive really deep into the applications and systems. And you need to know what you are talking about.
That’s me! But I don’t work for free…
If you do well, you won’t have to. You will start with a base salary up to €65.000 gross a year and enjoy excellent secondary benefits. From the ability and freedom to work anywhere in the world. So, what are you waiting for? Time to disrupt an entire industry!
