Here comes my responsibilities package
You will be the Data Platform Engineer, as a part of the Trading Infrastructure team. Here , you will continuously improve and maintain their low latency Linux based trading and backend environment. Their distributed systems and big data solutions are managed by you, and the focus will be on systems automation and CI/CD. Thanks to your work, hardware and software solutions are rapidly deployed.
Sounds great, but do I qualify?
Naturally, your advanced knowledge of Linux system administration and you have working experience in systems and data engineering. Deploying, supporting and administering Hadoop, Kafka, and Scylla/Cassandra is something you’ve done before, just as deploying Kubernetes clusters. Those are the most important skills, but other advantages are that you can solve problems proactively and in a creative way. Your flexibility helps with that.
That’s all me, but what will I get in return?
For a pretty good start, your yearly salary reaches between €75.000 and €95.000 gross, depending on your experience.
