In this new role within their organization, your role is critical to ensure they set up the right Data Processes concerning governance rules and regulations that apply for their business/industry.
You will lead the transformation towards data lifecycle management and will be accountable for alignment: ensuring that that they have a well-developed and maintained Data common language for all the data entities critical to strategic priorities, functions and operations, data quality, and data lineage. You will need to shape the build of data catalogs and services, as well as require alignment with industry standards and best practices. You and your team should be working very closely with the data owners in the business.
So what will I be accountable for?
First of all, you will oversee the daily data-related Governance operations, SLA’s, analyze recurrent questions, resolves issues in a timely manner, create clarity in the transition to Data Management entities. From Common Language perspective they like to see adequate coverage to enable the business and alignment with the EDM as well as the Data quality. You will also make sure that there are transition plans in place that are adequate when change is required, and the target state is clearly articulated in an actionable manner.
You will coordinate work across the business data owners in relation to change, coordinate and align with Data Governance Management, Advanced Analytics and Insights Enablement to create a solid data backbone to support business priorities, you will translate strategic requirements into plans for the team, you will assure continuous improvement to data management processes and practices

You have extensive experience in rolling out global Data Governance Management programs. You are a very strong stakeholder manager who’s capable of listening and understanding the challenges, opportunities, requirements, and needs of all involved parties. With your strong understanding of technical specifics, translating business needs into technology solutions within Data management, being able to make decisions, and the ability to visualize and create high-level models (rigorous information-rich diagrams) that can be used in future analysis to extend and mature the business architecture. Of course, you have successfully finished an interesting Bachelor’s or Master’s study, and you have an agile mindset focused on four basic principles: focus on customer value, power to the teams, start quick and smart, and learn relentlessly. As a Data Domain Manager, you own these principles and integrate them into daily life. Self-reflection, adaptability, collaboration, and resilience come naturally to you and make you thrive in an Agile environment. Engaging with these characteristics and becoming more self-aware of personal strengths and weaknesses, makes major strides in the development of yourself and others.
What will I get in return for my hard work?
