Our client develops unique tools to make markets transparent fast. They gather and maintain data from countless sources, some public and some not-so-public, and extract valuable insights from it to help their clients in achieving their business goals. With their own state-of-the-art tooling and SaaS marketing platform, they are unique in the field of sales and marketing. And they’re looking for you.
What will be expected from you?
As a Data Engineer you will be part of the Data team and work closely together with the Product Owner, Data Scientists, Application Developers and, of course, your fellow Data Engineers. Together you’ll focus on building and maintaining high volume data systems and solving any bottlenecks and problems related to the volume and variety of the data they process. To not overcomplicate things, you’ll make sure that your solutions are coherent, modular and scalable. That way, you have the time to focus on the things you really want to do. Like managing EMR clusters with Spark and researching how they might leverage newer technologies to improve their pipeline.
Sounds like fun but I’m not sure if I’m the right fit?
Of course you are! After all, you’ve got a degree in a computer science related field, some impressive Python skills, and you’ve even had the chance to explore a bit of Docker and Apache Spark. Sure, some Azure experience could be nice but honestly, after working with this team for a few months you’ll be an expert on Azure either way, so who cares? Not me. The only other thing you’ll need is the right attitude.

To ensure that you really feel valued, you will receive a basic salary of up to €75.000,- gross per year and you will enjoy excellent secondary conditions.
