This company is relatively new but growing very fast. As we all know trading through the phone is old time. Now the new era has come and almost all trading is done through computers. That’s also the case for this company. This means that there is a lot of data coming in and this needs to be maintained and collected. And that’s where you come in, as their Data Engineer.
Awesome, what can I do?
As the Data Engineer, you will do everything that has to do with data within this company. You will have a combined role of Data Engineer and Data Analyst. Do you see, everything that has to do with data, right? You will develop and maintain a cloud-based data platform but that’s not all you will do the same for BI reporting tools. A very important task of you will be to endure that the data warehouse is high in reliability and quality. Furthermore, you will set up data, application, and infrastructure monitoring. Last but not least, you will also engage with the business by sharing your knowledge on trading.
Sounds cool! But am I the one?
Well, that’s a good one. Let’s first start with your working experience. You have at least 3 years of experience with data. Your knowledge of Software Engineering is on point and you have a lot of experience in different databases like NoSQL, relational, and TimeSeries. You also have knowledge of Python and preferably AWS and Docker. Besides this, you live in the amazing city of Amsterdam or close by. But most importantly, you enjoy everything that has to do with data and you would like to work in the trading world.
