What do they need?
Integration, that’s the key. This organization uses complex microservices architecture based on Microsoft technology and is working on the implementation of the Azure Service Bus to integrate those microservices. But that’s impossible, obviously, without a neat integration architecture.
As a Senior Developer, you will work together with your 4 teammates to give this architecture shape. As the most experienced developer, it’s your job to take the lead in this team by keeping them up to date about the most recent developments and by leading the transition to DevOps and CI/CD. The ideal chance to challenge yourself by growing to a leading role.
I like a challenge, but do I have the right technical skills?
With a couple of years of relevant .NET experience, you’re up to a good start and your Azure skills will also be of great help. If you’ve got experience with the Azure Service Bus and know something about integration architecture it’s definitely a match. Some leading experience is also nice, but the most important thing is that you’ve got the right mindset and communication skills that are needed to coach others. You want to share knowledge. Because sharing means multiplying.
Sounds cool, but what about my mortgage?
Don’t you worry. The base salary between €55.000 and €80.000 grossly a year is already good news, but there are very attractive bonus- and pension arrangements.
