If there’s one industry that’s ripe for disruption, it’s the hospitality industry. While pretty much everything we know has been drastically changed by new technology, most hotels are still the same. But not for much longer. This company has developed a unique platform to not only automate a lot of the processes going on in hotels, but also seriously improve the guest experience. From check-in to check-out, nothing stays the same.
What did they use to build their platform? The Microsoft stack. All of it. Everything is developed in C#, .NET (Core) and it all runs on Azure. Even the few on-premise setups they have are running on some form of Windows Server. Makes sense, when you realize they’re a Microsoft partner and have access to all the latest tools and technologies. Whenever Microsoft introduces a new tool or toy, they’re the first to play with it. And you could be too.
So, how can I help?
The job is pretty dynamic and independent, with a fun team to keep things lively. As an Azure Cloud Specialist, you’ll be diving into planning, analysing, testing, and deploying Microsoft cloud solutions on a big scale. Basically, you are keeping the virtual environment running smoothly.
You’ll be in charge of handling complex cloud infrastructure solutions across the company. This means setting up both technical and business requirements in Azure. Spotting and fixing problems. Much like how hospitality values every detail, you’ll take on projects to make sure they hit all goals, delivering excellence in every task. Plus, you’ll be leading some pretty nice projects and serving as the go-to person for customers if they need a hand or some tech advice. Pretty cool, right?
For sure! What do I need to know?
Alright, let’s hand it out on a silver plate. You know a thing or two about cloud environments, including managing, monitoring, and provisioning. You are proficient with PowerShell and Azure Automation. Plus, you’re all about operations management, systems security, testing, and databases. It’s like your playground. Deploying stuff and setting up CI/CD pipelines sounds familiar, and Azure certifications are attached to your wall. When we say Kubernetes, AKS, and K3s (CKA), you give thumbs up! And as a person, you’re super curious. Always eager to learn and explore.
And the pay?
That depends on what you bring to the table of course, but you’ll start with a salary between €55.000 and €75.000 gross a year. On top of that, there’s everything else.
