Responsibilities API Platform Engineer
Together with your team, you are responsible for a stable and sustainable platform. A platform built on OpenShift, where the APIs run in pods and the Kubernetes cluster can be easily managed. You are responsible for maintenance on the API platform, troubleshooting related to Java-built APIs and the improvements to this. This applies to improve and automating existing APIs in Openshift and 3scale. All APIs are made available via the API gateway, which is an implementation of OpenResty. The APIs are used by internal and external stakeholders.
Skillset API Platform Engineer
- A relevant bachelor’s or master degree
- Minimum 3 years’ experience developing software, with at least 1 years of experience using Docker and Kubernetes
- Experience with API management and REST APIs
- Experience with Jenkins
- Preferably you also have experience with the security of APIs
- You have excellent skills in writing and speaking English
Preferably you also have knowledge of:
- Java

- Apache Camel
- CDI/Weld or Spring (Boot)
- Openshift
- Elasticsearch or Lucene
- OpenResty (Nginx plus Lua coding)
