And what is it I’ll do?
As their Analytics Engineer, you make sure there is a strong tech infrastructure for the people analytics function. You’ll manage the data infrastructure as well as create new data feeds and tools to expand it. In a pretty small team, you’re helping to realize strategic analytical initiatives, help in people research, and experiment in solving business and HR challenges. Predicting great hires, predicting turnover, supporting company’s employee engagement goals, these are things you should think about.
And from a technical point of view?
You will use Python to build and manage data infrastructure, and you will establish secure dataflows across databases and servers in multiple environments like Elastic, AWS and SQL. On top of this infrastructure, you will build and improve existing automated web-based reporting solutions, occasionally using web frameworks like Flask. To make sure you can focus on building rather than deploying, there is a well-set-up CI/CD pipeline and they apply DevOps principles to allow for efficient development processes.
With some relevant experience concerning the things you just read, and with a will to work hard in a fast-paced environment that delivers many challenges, you’ll find your place here.
