We’ve reached the milestone of 8 billion people on Earth, and this number will continue to grow throughout this century. All these people need to be fed without leaving too much of a footprint on our planet. This team is up to the task.

How do they plan to achieve this?

To sustainably feed the global population, we need a much more efficient system. Currently, a significant portion of the food we grow goes to animal feed, consuming vast amounts of space, water, and resources.

This scale-up is on the fast track to solving these issues. With their unique concept, they provide a nutritious portfolio of proteins, carbohydrates, fibers, sweeteners, and minerals. They focus on sources like beans, peas, oilseeds, nuts, vegetables, and algae. By supplying natural products to various sectors, they diversify their market: human and animal nutrition, as well as sustainable binders for producing items like bioplastics, cardboard, and paper in the industrial sector.

A market gap! How can they grow further?

With your help! As an Operations Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in the international logistics ecosystem. You will continuously build the network of transport companies and warehouses, maintaining close ties with all stakeholders. You’ll be ensuring not just the safe arrival of cargo but also the reputation in Miami. Additionally, you will help optimize processes and expand the supplier base. And if something goes wrong, you’ll be the one to mobilize all resources and use your knowledge of Incoterms to find the right solution.

You should be fluent in English (Dutch is a plus), both written and spoken. Any additional languages are a plus! You should also reside in or around Amsterdam.

Awesome! What’s in it for me?

You can expect a monthly salary between €3,200 and €4,000, depending on your knowledge and experience. You’ll have plenty of time to explore the world with 24 vacation days per year. Plus, you’ll work at a prime location in Amsterdam with full travel expense reimbursement. Prefer driving? No problem, there’s free parking right outside! Additionally, you’ll receive a company laptop and phone, and you can join the weekly Friday drinks. Ready for a new challenge? Apply now, and we’ll get in touch with you soon!
