Flowers make life more colorful. Whether it’s a heartfelt bouquet for your mom, a spontaneous bunch for your partner, or just something beautiful for yourself—flowers are always the perfect gift. But before they reach a vase, a whole (digital) process is working behind the scenes.
Who are they?
Our client is a global leader in the floriculture industry, responsible for sourcing, distributing, and selling flowers and plants worldwide. With a smart and sustainable logistics network, they ensure fresh, fragrant, and perfectly cared-for blooms reach florists, retailers, and consumers across the globe. In this fast-moving industry, efficiency, quality, and precision are key. That’s why they continuously invest in cutting-edge digital solutions, seamless logistics, and strong partnerships. To keep their robust and flexible cloud environment growing strong, they need you.
What about the job
As a Hybrid Cloud Engineer, you’ll ensure that growers, wholesalers, retailers, and e-commerce platforms stay connected through a fast, secure, and reliable system. You’ll work with Azure, Microsoft 365, and a hyper-converged VMware-based Windows server environment, keeping everything running smoothly. Their infrastructure links data centers, physical stores, and digital platforms worldwide—and you’ll be the one making sure it all stays operational and secure.
From real-time inventory management to a seamless e-commerce experience and optimized logistics, you’ll be the driving force behind their digital backbone. You’ll design, implement, and manage their hybrid cloud environment while continuously looking for ways to improve performance. Security is strengthened, processes are streamlined, and the latest technologies help the company scale efficiently. Collaborating with internal teams and suppliers, you’ll develop innovative solutions that keep their digital and logistics processes running faster and smarter.
Is it the right fit??
You’ve got a bachelor’s degree or higher in IT and experience in setting up and managing Microsoft environments, virtualization platforms, and Azure cloud services. You’re well-versed in Microsoft 365, Citrix, VMware, and network infrastructure, and if you also know your way around hardware, that’s a great bonus!
Working agile and project-based comes naturally to you, and you know how to manage IT projects effectively. You’re communicative, solution-driven, and have an analytical mindset that helps you tackle challenges with ease. You speak Dutch and English fluently, and with a driver’s license (B), you’re ready to be wherever you need to be.
What’s in it for me?
Of course, you want to grow, and they’ll make sure you do. Expect a competitive salary between €60.000- and €85.000- per year, plus covered travel expenses, flexible remote work options, and a company laptop and smartphone. And because flowers are at the heart of everything they do, you’ll even get to take home a beautiful bouquet now and then—just because they can.
