This company is shaking up one of the biggest (and yes, most resource-hungry) industries in the world. They’ve already built Europe’s leading platform in their field and now, they’re scaling faster than ever. That means serious growth, more traffic and more infrastructure. Oh hey, look at that… there you are. Exactly who they need.
Tell me more…
They’re a fast-growing international e-commerce company, ready to scale big. With the mission to become Earth’s most intelligent platform in their field, they constantly challenge the status quo and try to do things differently. They bring local production and delivery to a global audience of creative entrepreneurs, SMBs and e-commerce companies.
But big dreams need solid foundations. To scale their platform the right way, they’re looking for a DevOps Engineer who’s not just into uptime, but into building smart, stable, and scalable systems from the ground up. The goal? Faster releases, fewer incidents, and an infrastructure that grows with them. Sounds like your cup of tea? Keep reading, we’ve got the job for you.
Impressive, how can I contribute?
They’re looking for someone who thrives on uptime and automation. As part of an international tech team, you as a DevOps Engineer, work closely with cross-functional teams to plan smarter, prevent incidents and scale systems. You’ll be a key player in building the future tech foundation of a company that’s moving at full speed.
Prefer a shortcut? Got you. Here’s what you’ll do:
- Take ownership of architecture, configuration, monitoring and management.
- Work with a modern stack: Linux (Debian/Ubuntu), Kubernetes, Docker, Kafka, Postgres, MySQL, Neo4j, Google Cloud — all configured via Helm & Ansible.
- Collaborate with Full Stack Engineers and support the platform’s performance and stability.
- Work closely with 3rd party tech partners to keep things sharp and aligned.
- Identify ways to boost performance, security and reliability.
Are they looking for me?
Of course! It doesn’t matter if you’re 22 or 52, male, female, or somewhere in between if you’ve got the skills and the fire, you’re in.
Here’s what they’re after:
- Solid experience working with (most of) the tech stack mentioned above.
- You’re comfortable tuning databases and improving performance.
- Automating manual tasks is second nature — scripts, pipelines, configs? Let’s go.
- You think about security on every level — from infra to application.
- Bonus if you’ve got coding chops (PHP is a plus).
- You’re dynamic, hands-on, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Extra points for experience with automation and cloud infrastructure.
That’s me indeed, but is the salary competitive?
You tell me. Is a monthly salary between €3.500,- and €5.000,- gross good enough for you? Furthermore, you will receive excellent secondary benefits like 24/7 access to their personal gym and always work the best soft- and hardware and even free Spanish classes if you’re up for mastering the local lingo. So, there’s plenty of room to grow, both personally and professionally. Curious? Let’s talk and we’ll fill you in on the rest.
