Getting from A to B isn’t what it used to be. Mobility has become easier, faster, cheaper, and even more sustainable. But there is always room for improvement. Will you lead the way?
Tell me more…
As one of the largest leasing companies in the Netherlands, this company aims to lead the way when it comes to sustainable mobility. It may sound strange, but for them, it is no longer just about cars. It’s about getting from A to B, when and how you want, without losing sight of the environment.
One of the ways they want to make an impact is by developing smart digital solutions. Data-driven solutions, for both external and internal customers. Solutions that give their customers insight into their use and can predict when maintenance is required. But also solutions that give internal stakeholders insight into how they can attract more customers and serve them even better. This is where you come in.
What about the role?
As the IT Data Science Tech Lead, you’ll be the bridge between complex business challenges and data-driven solutions. You’ll translate business needs into actionable requirements for the data science platform, ensuring that the technology and architecture you choose align with both operational and strategic goals. Your role will also involve monitoring and improving the performance of models in production, with a focus on maintaining the highest quality standards. You’ll lead and mentor a team of data scientists, guiding them through best practices, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, and ensuring the quality of models before they are deployed to production.
Your day-to-day will require you to analyze and explore data, build deployment pipelines using MLOps, and challenge methodologies to ensure the best outcomes. Keeping up with the latest data science trends will be essential as you shape the future of the platform and drive innovation forward.
Am I the right match?
That could very well be you. If you’re still reading, you’re probably already familiar with the key skills for this role. You’ve worked with MLOps and CI/CD tools like MLFlow and GitLab and are confident in building deployment pipelines. Your expertise includes predictive and descriptive modeling, AI, and data processing, but you’re always eager to dig deeper, challenge methodologies, and continuously improve models to ensure they’re production-ready.
Leading a team is nothing new, and you’re confident guiding data scientists to follow best practices while delivering high-quality results. You’re also great at translating business needs into data-driven solutions that align with both operational and strategic goals. You thrive on learning, keeping up with the latest technologies, and staying ahead of industry trends to innovate and lead the platform forward.
