It’ll be up to you and your team to design, implement, and manage this hybrid cloud infrastructure. That’s me! But do I have enough experience?
Obviously, networking is a big part of the job – and we’re not talking about the kind where you hand out business cards. So some years of experience in this area is definitely helpful, as are any relevant Azure certifications. Of course, there’s a lot of different technologies being used so you’re not expected to have intimate knowledge of everything. If you have some combination of experience in areas like managing Microsoft environments, setting up Azure Cloud Services, virtualization with VMware or networking hardware, you’re good to go.
Sounds great, but what about the benefits?
