Too big to fail = too big to change? The world is changing quickly and the financial sector is struggling to keep up. Except for the few who have decided to get ahead of the pack. How they did it? By working with a very special company. A company that just happens to be looking for an experienced Software Engineer to join their team.
I’m listening, please continue
The digital transformation is well underway, especially in the financial sector. Unfortunately, not everyone is able to keep up. Large banks in particular have trouble staying with the times. After all, it’s not easy to change course when you have millions of customers relying on you. Luckily, there’s one company working to change that. With their revolutionary, one-of-a-kind cloud solution they offer financial institutions the agility they need to keep moving forward. Not only are their products just as, or even more reliable than the traditional solutions, they also make sure to stay fully compliant with the rapidly changing rules and regulations that dominate the financial sector.
Sounds great, what do you need?
It’s really up to you to determine what needs to be done. Together with your team of course. Because unlike many other organizations, this company truly believes the best results are achieved when talented people are given the resources they need to succeed and the freedom to do what they feel is right. This means you decide on pretty much everything, from what needs to be built, and how, to which methodology your team will use to get there. Sure, there are a few guiding principles, like DDD and SOLID but other than that it’s up to you. When it comes to the tech stack it’s a different story though. They’re committed to C# and .NET Core, containerize everything and deploy on AWS.
Sounds cool, what do I need to bring?
A few years of relevant C# / .NET development experience is a good start. Preferably, you already feel right at home in .NET Core, are familiar with the SOLID principles, and know a thing or two about the AWS cloud. Maybe you even know how to write lambda functions. Don’t worry if you don’t. All that matters is that you’re willing to learn. Serverless is the way of the future after all.
I’m in, but I do have bills to take care of
Don’t worry, they’ll take care of you. They’ll start you off with a base salary between €65.000 and € 80.000 gross a year based on fulltime and top it off if with the best secondary package you’ve ever seen. What this means? Click Apply and maybe you’ll find out!
