Hospitality

It’s the 21st century and the digital transformation is well underway. Unfortunately, some industries are falling behind. Especially, the hospitality industry. Luckily, there’s one company looking to change that. And they need your help to do it.

Sounds cool, tell me more

If there’s one industry that’s ripe for disruption, it’s the hospitality industry. While pretty much everything we know has been drastically changed by new technology, most hotels are still the same. But not for much longer. This company has developed a unique platform to not only automate a lot of the processes going on in hotels but also seriously improve the guest experience. From Check-in to Check-out, nothing stays the same.

What did they use to build their platform? The Microsoft stack. All of it. Everything was developed in C#.NET and it all runs on Azure. Even the few on-premise setups they have are running on some form of Windows Server. Makes sense, when you realize they’re a Microsoft partner and have access to all the latest tools and technologies. Whenever Microsoft introduces a new tool or toy, they’re the first to play with it. And you could be too.

So, how can I help?

They run a highly complex, company-wide cloud infrastructure and they need you to help support it. You’ll be implementing new features and functionality based on the clients’ needs and maintaining the CI/CD pipeline. Besides that, you’ll also monitor pretty much everything that can be monitored to identify bottlenecks and work to fix them together with the developers. Of course, you won’t just be dealing with colleagues. Because whenever a client needs support, you as the internal Azure specialist will be their first point of contact.

Sounds cool but am I up to the task?

If you have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a similar field and a few years of experience as a DevOps or Cloud Engineer on Azure, I’d say you’re already halfway there. And if you also happen to have solid Powershell skills and a bit more old-school knowledge about Windows AD and Windows Server 2016, you’re definitely the right person for the job.

And the pay?

That depends on what you bring to the table of course, but you’ll start with a salary between €55.000 and €80.000 gross a year. On top of that, there’s everything else. And when I say everything, I mean everything. Flexible working, Massages at the office, Daily healthy and extensive ‘family’ lunch, wear what you are, room for personal development and all the other good stuff. Coming from abroad? You’ll even have the opportunity to join free in-house Dutch lessons. So, what are you still waiting for? Click Apply and we’ll talk soon!
