Staying together while distancing socially, this company has been doing it for years. Even before this crisis reared its head they were working to connect people at a distance, and keeping them connected. And right now, they need the help of a Lead Ruby on Rails Developer like you to keep doing it.

I’m here to help

Now that we’re all working from home and all the schools are closed, it’s harder than ever to stay connected. While staying connected is more essential than ever before. The connection between a company and its employees. Between schools and parents. Between teachers and students. Of course, there are ways. But they don’t make it easier. Mainly more tedious and time-consuming. Fortunately, there is a solution. A solution built in Ruby on Rails.

With their user-friendly platform and mobile applications, this company knows how to make sure we can keep our distance while staying together. All communication is centralized and the manual processes are automated. That way everybody always knows what they are in for and employers, schools, teachers and any other users can focus on what’s really important.

Where do I come in?

As a Lead Ruby on Rails Developer, you will be driving the process. The CTO is looking to take a step back and needs a solid righthand that can take the team further. Together, you will be taking the platform to a higher level. You’ll do this by staying in touch with the users so you always know what the question is. That way, you and your team can find the answer. Your input and ideas are essential to the process, so it’s important that you make yourself known. Of course, there is also a huge technical component of this position. Not only a number of years of experience as a Ruby on Rails Developer but also knowledge about background processes like Sidekiq and everything going on in the front-end. It would be absolutely amazing if you’re also able to bring some testing or mobile experience (iOS and Android) to the table.

What’s in it for me?

You’ll be handsomely rewarded for all your hard work. For starters, a base salary between €45.000 and €70.000 gross a year. On top of that, you’ll receive excellent secondary benefits like a MacBook, 25 vacation days, and travel expenses. Lastly, you’ll have the opportunity to grow to the position of team lead and even a share in the company. Still, reading? Click apply and we’ll get in touch right away. From a socially responsible distance, of course 😉
