Our client is an international company based in Rotterdam and Amsterdam. They are specialized in creating interactive games for TV and social media. With clients all over the world, they are looking for experienced Java Developers to join their team. You will take part in product development as well as develop project specific solutions for applications in TV, video, and gaming.
Skillset Java Developer
- 2+ years of experience as a Java software developer
- A degree in computer science or a related field (BSc or MSc)
- You are familiar with or interested in learning to work with Guice, Jetty, Jenkins, Maven, JUnit, MongoDB/NoSQL, various cloud services
- You have experience building scalable and highly reliable backend solutions
- You are comfortable making important technical decisions based on data, autonomously
- Accustomed to using automated testing techniques to do the heavy lifting for you, and have experience with complex deployments using continuous delivery and integration*
- You have the ability to transfer your experience and knowledge to junior team members
- You have an analytical mind, are eager to learn and are always looking for new and innovative solutions
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
