For an innovative company based in Amsterdam we are looking for an entrepreneurial Python Developer, who has a healthy interest in solar- and renewable energy. Our client is dynamic startup company, with the ambition to change the solar energy market. They are developing a revolutionized new application that enables their clients to get a better inside over the performance of their solar installations.
Measurement is performed with a reliable GPRS solution, but the back-end needs to be setup and evolved. Our client has been the center of student research the past years which has proven that they are able to give a clear overview of the benefits and profits of solar energy.
Together with your team you will disrupt the way this analysis is performed, and we will shape the future of solar monitoring of a large set of assets.
Python Developer Solar Energy
You will be the first employee in this new company (but back-up by many colleagues and will be the cornerstone of working on this new platform. As a versatile Python developer you will come in contact with different technologies, programming languages and disciplines. Your first task will be to redefine and develop the current Java based back-end and setting up a good API to be able to read-out the metering hardware.
Furthermore you will:
- Adding extra data-sources to the platform
- Performing advanced analysis on the gathered data
- Increase the efficiency & security of the system
Skillset Python Developer Solar Energy:
- You have a bachelor’s or master’s degree
- 2-3 years of experience coding in Java and scripting in Python
- Experience with building API’s
- Database system including MSSQL, MongoDB and NoSQL solutions
- Eager to learn a new language overnight
