Can you be in Transport and in the meantime contribute to a more sustainable world? This giant in logistics & transport makes it look like they’re going to be. With their innovation program, a modern transport organization is very near. But they need you to achieve that.
What are you talking about?
We’ll tell you. This company is a giant in logistics & transport, and they do it properly. More than properly, actually, because as an organization this big and busy, with a lot of hardware, it’s not easy to stay up-to-date on technological development. For example: where your postal service uses advanced track&trace services, several logistics companies can be glad to have a simple version of that.
But here, using technology to their best abilities is high on their priority list. They want to use data, apps, and other useful software solutions in their complete operation, to be more effective and efficient. If they do that properly, they stay ahead of the competition and can offer the best services to their clients.
And what is it I am supposed to do here?
As their Project administrator, you will join the Data team. Major tasks of your job are helping and managing the project team. To keep your project schedule and meet your goals on time, you need to work with a variety of project team members at each stage. One of these people is the project manager.
You are responsible for various administrative tasks surrounding a project. These tasks may include documentation, managing meetings, managing project budgets, and using time management skills to help the team stay on track.
I can do this, right?
Yes you can, while software automation can help you with a variety of tasks in your project manager role, you will still have strong organizational and time management skills to be effective. Your organizational skills will help you sort tasks, manage paperwork, and take over work from the project manager.
That’s me! And what do I get in return?
For a job as important as this, the reward won’t be small. A yearly salary between €35.000 and €55.000 is already nice, but that’s not all. They offer a company pension plan and reimbursement for the costs of the daily commute. The working agreements are flexible and you receive 28 vacation days based on a full-time job.
