You will be the Linux Systems Engineer, where you will engineer, implement and maintain the information technology server. Your work will consist mainly of maintaining servers and networks and other software. But also hardware and documentation are on your plate, so you get the full picture. In this important job, you’ll be working closely together with the IT Director.
Sounds good, but am I good enough?
Being good enough is always the question, but in this case, the answer is yes. You’ve worked as a Systems Engineer for a couple of years before, so that’s not new for you. Your Linux skills are great and you’re able to write scripts to automate tasks. Programs like AWS, Azure and GCP are familiar to you and when you know pfSense already, you can apply without any hesitation.
