E-Commerce

Selling stuff has never been easier. All you have to do is open up an account with one of the major online retailers, put up your product, and wait for the money to roll in. In fact, it’s so easy you might as well sell your product in every single webshop out there. Most companies do. But what if they need to update the product description? Or want to change the color of the product? Who will make sure everyone knows about it?

Tell me more…

One of Amsterdam’s coolest scale-ups is working to create order out of the e-commerce chaos and they need your help to do it. Their platform was designed specifically to help brands manage their online product catalog across tens, hundreds, possibly even thousands of different webshops. With one push of the button, brands are now able to update their product information everywhere, at any time.

It’s not the most relevant solution when you look at small- to medium-sized companies but it’s a game-changer for the big players. Some of the world’s biggest brands like Unilever, AB InBev, and even LEGO are already using it to manage their product content delivery. Now that e-grocery is rapidly gaining popularity and people are shopping more and more online, it’s time to take it to the next level.

What do they need?

Even though they’ve already been able to build relationships with some of the world’s biggest brands, competition is fierce. This means they have to step up their game if they want to become the world’s no. 1 source for product data.

The key to achieving that goal is making sure they can push data to pretty much any retailer you can imagine, while also giving their clients the flexibility they require to make their products truly stand out. This is where you come in.

What should I bring?

As a Senior .NET Developer, you will be working on our client’s core products as well as on new innovations to improve the platform using the latest technologies. With your technical expertise and experience, you are not only responsible for the architecture and development but also for the technical quality. You are a strategic partner for both their clients and the internal development team. You will have an eagerness to be hands-on, the ability to drive technical designs and oversee product releases. You will optimize fully abstracted applications for maximum speed and scalability both on-prem and on Azure. Docker, Kubernetes are to be used for containerization and Azure DevOps for the CI/CD pipelines. You will develop new modules on existing platforms and define sprints with clients. You will provide support and insight to both the development team, and the client. You continuously look for ways to improve products and implement A/B tests as well as write high-performance, reusable code. Last but not least; you have good communication skills in order to coach junior/medior developers.

What does it pay?

They’ll definitely make it worth your while by starting you off with a base salary between €4000 and €5500 gross a month. Of course, they also offer a healthy secondary package and there’s a standard end-of-year bonus to finish the year the right way. So what are you waiting for? Click apply and get started!
