What do they need?
There is a dedicated scrum team working to bring their video solution to the next level and they need the help of an experienced Full Stack Javascript Developer to do it. Someone who knows a thing or two about building reliable, high-traffic software solutions. And, someone who gets very excited about working on video solutions and feels right at home working with people from all kinds of different backgrounds, like Product Management and User Interaction for example.
Could that someone be me?
That someone could be you if you have the right tools in your toolbox. Stuff like a relevant Computer Science degree and a few years of Javascript development experience. Besides that, knowledge about Node.js and React or Vue.js comes in handy. If you also know a thing or to about streaming protocols and a bit of Adtech like DFP, VAST, or VMAP is a big bonus. Sure, experience with containerization in Docker or Kubernetes would be very nice but there’s plenty of time to learn.
