E-Commerce

There’s this website. It’s pretty amazing. It’s so amazing that it’s been awarded website of the year. Not just once or twice, but 10 times in a row. And it’s still not enough. They want more. This is where you come in.

Tell me more!

With their unique E-commerce offering, this company has taken the European market by storm and they’re looking to stay on top. They’ve spent the last 15 years building a community of millions of satisfied customers, are active in a number of different countries and already get over 200.000 daily visitors on their website. Surprisingly, all of this has been achieved without spending a whole lot of money on marketing. Now imagine what they could achieve if they did. Or better yet, don’t imagine and just help them do it.

What do they need me to do?

Not much. Except for collecting and analyzing all website and marketing data, and extracting valuable insights to continuously improve the customer experience. Easy, right? Luckily, you won’t be doing it alone but will be working closely together with the performance marketeer and a number of other colleagues from different departments. Together you will determine what areas to focus on and what actions to take based on the insights you create. By building well-structured dashboards and reports, you help everyone else get better at their job.

Sounds great, need me to bring anything?

A few solid years of Online marketing experience is a good start. It’d be nice if you can actually back it up with a relevant degree but we’re focused more on your mindset than your resume. As long as you have a solid understanding of online marketing principles, are at home in SEO and SEA, and know a thing or two about Excel and web analytics platforms, it’s worth having a talk. Sure, they use fancy tools and don’t shy away from buzzwords but what really matters is whether you deliver. You have to like working independently (which is not the same as alone) and want to truly take ownership of both the successes and failures of your work.

That’s me but I don’t work for free…

Of course, you don’t. Which is why you’ll start with a base salary between € 40.000 and € 60.000,- gross a year. On top of that, you’ll receive a very competitive secondary package with pretty much anything you can imagine. The most exciting part of this opportunity though has to be the fact that you’ll be responsible for taking an already successful brand to even greater heights.
