From the moment someone clicks “buy” to the second a package lands on their doorstep, there’s a whole world of technology working at full speed behind the scenes. Not just systems, but a highly automated ecosystem processing massive amounts of data every second. And as everything scales, the real challenge begins, because keeping it fast, reliable and flawless is where things get interesting.

You have my attention

Behind it all, a team of sharp, driven engineers is building a modern data and cloud platform where DevOps and automation are the standard. Think Infrastructure as Code, smart pipelines and systems designed to handle serious data volumes without breaking a sweat. The work is varied, the tech is cutting edge, and the focus is always on doing things smarter, faster and better.

Around you, over 60 development teams are running more than 100 databases in production, and they’re all doing something different. Not exactly an ideal setup, but an awesome challenge for an engineer who’s looking to join a world-class team. The data platform you’ll build here will help power the future of e-commerce and make a lot of developers very happy.

Now you have my curiosity

As a Data Platform Engineer, you take ownership of building and scaling a modern cloud platform where automation is key and reliability is non negotiable. You work closely with your team to expand a cloud environment that developers can fully rely on, using Infrastructure as Code and smart automation to ensure applications go live without friction, this is where your impact really starts to show.

You design and improve cloud and database infrastructure hands on, from writing Python based automation for serverless backups to S3 to optimizing complex SQL queries with developers. You configure auditing in databases, support teams during upgrades like Aurora migrations, and troubleshoot backend issues when needed. At the same time, you automate pipelines, write clean and testable code, and continuously improve deployment processes so everything runs smoother, faster and more scalable.

Which skills do I need?

You bring hands on experience in cloud infrastructure (preferably AWS) and python programming, with a focus on monitoring and automation, and you enjoy working with relational databases. Oracle experience will come in handy, but it’s mostly about being really comfortable working in SQL and having some knowledge about database architectures. Besides that, you really care about providing the dev teams using your platform an awesome experience.

What’s in it for you

You’ll receive a solid annual salary between €70.000 and €90.000, depending on your experience. On top of that, you get travel reimbursement, a pension plan and a home working allowance, giving you a strong and stable foundation.

You’ll work in an international environment with colleagues from all over the world, in a culture where you can truly be yourself. Think of a team that feels like friends, with regular drinks, events and a great atmosphere. You’ll have the flexibility to work from home and the office, access to more than 100 training courses, and all the freedom to bring your own ideas to life. Ready to take the next step? Apply now.
