Company swag, self-published books, an album with vacation photos. Business is booming, and this global print platform is ready to make the most of it. It’s a place of high pace and quick decisions, perfect for technical visionaries who really love to build the engine that powers everything else. Perfect for you.
You have my attention
The world’s largest print platform doesn’t just run on hope; it runs on rock-solid tech. As a leader in the industry, this company breathes scalability. Here, a Product Manager isn’t just a ticket-taker; you’re a strategic leader who carves the path to the future. The Core Platform charter isn’t just a department—it’s the “fuel” and the “rails” that allow every other team to move fast. In such a highly competitive market, stability, speed, and intelligence are key.
You? You’ll own the Internal Developer Platform and Data Infrastructure, ensuring a complex ecosystem of microservices runs at lightning speed. You’re not intimidated by technical debt or complex migrations. In fact, you enjoy figuring out how to turn abstract architectural needs into a clear business case.
Now you have my curiosity
As a Technical Product Manager for the core platform, you’ll be right in the middle of a fast-moving, high-stakes environment. You don’t just own the tech; you own the business impact. You’ll spend 80% of your time on Discovery—analyzing internal user needs, researching architectural trends, and planning data strategy—and 20% on Delivery to keep your squad unblocked.
You’ll operate in a tight partnership with a Lead Engineer and System Architects. Together, you decide How to solve complex technical challenges, but you are the one defining the Why and the What. Whether you’re building a unified API layer or ensuring clean, actionable data in the warehouse, you treat internal developers as your primary customers. You obsess over developer experience, reducing friction so other squads can ship features faster than ever.
And from a more technical point of view?
Alright, the list is not endless, but you have to have some skills, you know. You have a technical pedigree, likely starting as a Software Engineer or Technical PM. You are fluent in APIs, Cloud Infrastructure, and System Architecture, and you can definitely hold your own in a technical debate. You have at least 4 years of experience in technical leadership or product management.
They need someone with a platform mindset who treats internal tools as products, not just chores. You understand the cost of infrastructure versus the value of speed and can answer the hard questions: “Even if we can build this, should we buy it instead?”. You thrive in a “Squads & Chapters” model and likely have experience with GCP and Kubernetes. More importantly, you lead through inspiration.
And by the way… you can bring the certificates, but if you’ve got the curiosity, the drive, and an “AI-first” problem-solving brain, you’ll fit right in.
So this platform thing, what’s in it for me?
Quite a lot to be honest. Aside from an annual salary up to € 100.000,- gross, you’ll get the international experience of working with a diverse team of 150+ professionals from over 34 nationalities. The benefits? They’re second to none. Think company-sponsored healthy meals every day, 24/7 gym access, and the freedom to truly “design yourself” and grow quickly within the company.
Remember, I said speed was key? They want to move fast. So, what are you waiting for?
