High-tech environment, top-quality products, and a good salary at a quintessentially Dutch multinational that leads the way in the energy transition? Then you are in the right place. They make big things here with nanometer precision. In the manufacturing room, they build solutions that make buildings more comfortable, more energy-efficient, and smarter.
Tell me more…
The optimal ambient temperature lies between 18°C and 21°C. But to keep that temperature stable and conserve energy, more is needed than just a thermostat. Behind the scenes, smart systems and software architectures ensure that pressure, flow, and heat distribution are perfectly coordinated.
In order to let these systems function reliably, safely, and efficiently, more is needed than just good hardware. Smart software, sensors, and embedded systems work together continuously, and everything must be accurately tested and checked. You ensure that these complex systems are reliable, function correctly, and are ready for the future.
And my role?
As a Software Test Engineer, you guarantee the quality and reliability of software within innovative products and digital platforms. You ensure that software functions well at a product and system level and that integrations with hardware, platforms, and external ecosystems proceed smoothly. You develop test strategies, set standards, and monitor consistency and quality across projects.
You develop, automate, and execute tests, analyze defects, and validate fixes and improvements. You advise multidisciplinary teams on testability, quality improvement, and risk management and translate complex system and product characteristics into concrete test solutions. In addition, you actively contribute to tooling, best practices, and test standards within the team, so that software is reliable, scalable, and future-proof.
Sounds great, but am I a good fit?
We believe in you! You have either a Bachelor’s or Master’s in Software Engineering or a comparable direction and demonstrable experience with testing software in industrial or product-oriented environments. You’re familiar with different testing methods, QA principles, and software engineering and have experience with embedded systems and system testing. Lastly, Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) tests, integration testing, and test automation are also part of your skillset.
You feel at home in multidisciplinary teams in which software, hardware, and system engineering come together and you know how to connect with colleagues from different disciplines. You have an affinity for R&D, innovation, and industrial systems. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills mean that you signal and resolve issues quickly. You deploy test tools and automation effectively to guarantee quality and repeatability. You communicate clearly with colleagues and stakeholders and have a professional command of the English language.
But what comes in?
Let’s make it concrete. Your gross annual salary lies between € 75.000,- and € 90.000,- depending on your knowledge and experience. In addition, you receive 27 vacation days and 13 ADV days (think of them as extra paid vacation days). You receive a company laptop and telephone and plenty of room to further develop yourself within an international, innovative organization.
