Build the infrastructure that keeps transport moving across Belgium, France and Luxembourg. Transport never stops, and neither does the need for reliable, future-proof infrastructure.
In this role, you ensure a large-scale international network continues to evolve, expand and perform at the highest level. You don’t just manage projects, you build the backbone of cross-border transport infrastructure.
Tell me more…
A future-proof infrastructure network is not built with technical knowledge alone. It requires someone who knows how to connect stakeholders, manage complexity and drive execution across borders. As Project Engineer, you take full ownership of construction, refurbishment and upgrade projects across Belgium, France and Luxembourg. From initial concept to final delivery, you ensure everything runs smoothly and according to plan. You operate in a dynamic, international environment where no two projects are the same. Different regulations, stakeholders and timelines require you to stay sharp, structured and decisive. This is exactly where you add value.
What will I be doing?
In this role, you are responsible for the full lifecycle of multiple infrastructure projects. You translate business needs into technical solutions and ensure strong, consistent execution.
You lead projects from A to Z, managing new builds, reconstructions and refurbishments from concept through to handover. You align with internal stakeholders and turn their input into clear, executable project plans. At the same time, you stay on top of planning, budget and quality. You monitor progress closely and step in when needed to keep everything on track. You ensure all projects comply with local legislation and QHSSE standards, working closely with architects, authorities and contractors.
You act as the central point of contact across all stakeholders, coordinating suppliers, contractors and internal teams, while safeguarding ongoing operations by organizing maintenance and upgrades without disrupting the network. Beyond execution, you continuously look for improvements in processes, technology and ways of working. Safety is embedded in everything you do, contributing to a zero-incident culture. In short, you play a key role in building and strengthening a large-scale infrastructure network across Belgium, France and Luxembourg.
Sounds good! But am I a fit?
You have a master’s degree in engineering or bring equivalent experience, combined with at least 5 years of experience in construction, infrastructure or technical project environments.
Experience within asset-heavy or operational environments is a strong plus, but not a must. You are used to working in complex, multidisciplinary settings where maintaining overview and control is key. Planning, organizing and delivering come naturally to you, and you communicate clearly while making decisions with confidence.
You take ownership, work independently and are driven by quality and results. You are solution-oriented and keep moving forward, even when challenges arise. Fluency in French and English is required. Any additional language is a plus.
What’s in it for me?
You step into a role with a high level of ownership and autonomy, operating in an international environment across Belgium, France and Luxembourg. You can expect a competitive salary with attractive benefits, including a company car suited for your field-based role. On top of that, you will have the opportunity to further develop your technical expertise and grow within a dynamic organization that is actively shaping the future of mobility.
