Count me in, what can I do?
As a Senior Product Owner, you’ll lead the evolution of a powerful SaaS platform used by global engineering companies to manage technical documentation, track revisions, and handle complex project data. You’ll join a brand-new Scrum team with three developers and one tester, all still new to Scrum and PO roles, taking over from the original founder—now Product Manager—who’s ready to hand over the reins.
This is a unique chance to set up the way of working from scratch, lead a cross-functional team, and unify two mature platforms into one future-proof solution. Reporting directly to the CTO, you’ll work closely with product managers on strategy and bring clarity and focus to a product critical to some of the world’s toughest projects. Yes, that means talking to engineers in the morning and explaining roadmap updates to the CTO by noon.
Both platforms keep their distinct roles: one aggregates data from systems like SharePoint and Salesforce, focusing on oil platforms and factories; the other handles document storage, drawings, and process control. Your job is to manage the feature integration between them, lead backlog grooming, sprint planning, and prioritization. You’ll coordinate priorities across Sales, Support, and Marketing and regularly engage with customers—showing mockups, collecting feedback, and driving continuous improvements.

Allright, let’s see! You’ve got over six years in SaaS, working on products that affect every part of the business. You know how to collaborate with developers, stakeholders, and execs without the usual corporate buzzwords. Agile? You don’t just know it — you’ve helped teams make it work for real. Prioritizing with MoSCoW or similar? Check. Managing shifting deadlines and expectations? Also check. You’re comfortable with Jira, Confluence, and Figma to keep things clear. PO certificates like PSPO are required.
The team’s new to Scrum and PO roles, so your practical leadership and hands-on approach to building processes will make a difference. You’re naturally curious, ready to get into the nitty-gritty of a complex product. You don’t need to code, but you can hold a tech conversation about APIs, workflows, and architecture. You handle changing priorities without drama and communicate clearly with teammates and clients alike.
